sps1722 LALLI & STEFANO RISSO UN TEMPO, APPENA CD |
||||
Female vocalist from Franti and following formations, Lalli built an impressive solo career as a singer-songwriter. Her inspiration comes from the likes of Cesare Pavese and Marguerite Duras, her musical suggestions are picked from Erik Satie's piano works and the Italian and European folk as well, in such a particular way that Lalli's songs are not built by imitation but by spiritual correspondence. "Un tempo, appena" is Lalli's sixth album, made in strong collaboration with double-bassist Stefano Risso, a longtime music partner musician and a close friend. Together they built a unique collection of songs. All music herein comes from electronic manipulations of double bass sounds, and the two voices meet, intertwine and melt in a loving embrace. The album was released on vinyl by U.K. based Black Cat Records in a limited edition. The CD release features some extra bonus tracks and impressive covers of Hüsker Dü and Neil Young.
