Exactly two years after “They Cast No Shadows” comes “Tertium Quid”, third CD from the LHAM project headed by Bruno De Angelis (Mana ERG) and Giuseppe Verticchio (Nimh) which once again leads the listener through complex and enthralling instrumental sound textures. The richness of the album’s arrangements and the sophistication of its harmonies are striking, alternating between calm stillness, quasi orchestral crescendos, fragments of darkness and restlessness followed by serene and luminous openings, in a long journey that, almost as in a novel, reveals moment by moment new scenarios, new horizons, new atmospheres, skilfully described through those sound constructions with a strong cinematic flavour that have been the distinctive hallmark of this original project since its inception in 2021 with “Leaving Hardly a Mark”.
